Where to score free tacos in Melbourne this month

By on October 28, 2022 0

Sometimes in life you have to ask the universe for exactly what you want it to receive. So to anyone who has demonstrated a food truck throwing thousands of free tacos in Melbourne this week, we hear you and we salute you.

Urban List and Old El Paso have teamed up to bring you free – we repeat – free double-layered tacos in Melbourne this month. It’s too good to be true? Head to one of three locations to see (and taste) it for yourself in October.

First, the taco truck will stop at Elwood Beach to serve up the suburbs with stacks of delicious folded Mexican food between 4 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26.

Can’t come that day? Try your luck at the truck when it pulls in Braunschweig from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. the next day on Thursday, October 27. Or, if you want to start your weekend early, find the truck at O’Donnell Gardens at st kilda on Friday, October 28 to grab your free lunch and get the weekend off to a good start. Taco ’bout free tasty goodness.

The best piece? You can try a double layer taco on the house. Yes, double the taco and double the delicious. If you’ve never had one before, this is the perfect opportunity to sample the flavor and texture bomb that is the double layer taco.
