Start of construction of the Omnia and Moorabbin apartments
Construction has begun on Shenfield Property Group’s newest apartment project, Omnia in Moorabbin.
The development comprises just 34 apartments, designed to be larger than the average supply of apartments on the market. In collaboration with Roger Brayshaw Architects, there is a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, as well as eight four bedroom townhouses.
The Shenfield Property development defines modern comfort and style, with proportioned interiors, designed by Aldona Padjak, offering a range of floor plans.
Each apartment offered has a parking space. The smaller one bed and one bath apartments have a generous indoor living space of over 52m². Two-bedroom apartments start from 78 m², while three-bedroom apartments, which have two bathrooms and two parking spaces, start from 144 m² and can reach 154 m² of living space.
Noorden property manager David Lamond, who is in charge of sales at Omnia, said owner-occupiers are choosing the development because of the large floor plans on offer.
“We have larger apartments than are available in the area,” he said.
The designs feature elegant shapes and clean lines that are complemented by neutral finishes. Most Omnia apartments face north, providing residents with an abundance of natural light.
The apartments feature high quality finishes including concealed cabinetry, glass backsplash in the kitchen, matte black fittings and built-in appliances, with each residence fitted with plush carpeting, engineered flooring and of stone tiles, as well as elegant solid walls. tiles in the bathrooms.
Adding to a growing number of green spaces in the area, Omnia’s park frontage lays the groundwork for its environmental awareness. Featuring an energy efficient design, as well as attractive gardens created by Wallbrink Landscape Architecture.
The Pocket Park next to Omnia is also set to expand, after Kingston City Council announced it would expand the current Healey Street Reserve Pocket Park to a larger space.
The new green space will feature open lawns, murals, tables with seating, and extensive landscaping with canopy trees. The new design incorporates water-sensitive urban design principles and will also see the council plant new street trees.
Located at 4-6 Horscroft Place, Omnia is close to a wide range of schools, colleges, cafes, shops and many parks and reserves are on your doorstep including RSEA Park – home of St Kilda Football Club.
