In one of the most exciting renovations in the area, the Portarlington Grand Hotel continues to deliver on all fronts with the news of its highly anticipated front bar.

Opened today, for the first time since March last year, the beautiful Front Bar is now open to the public.

The face of the Portarlington Grand Hotel; the Front Bar is where the magic happens. With stunning new renovations, textured walls, beautiful greens and sleek yet simple black furniture, this front bar brings a whole new vibe to the seaside town. You don’t have to be a local to feel at home and soak up the atmosphere here.

As described by the place, it’s a place where everyone can feel like a local; a place where you can be a little fancy if you feel like it; a place to taste local Bellarine wine, try a cocktail or enjoy a classic draft beer; and a place where jokes and bad jokes are always welcome.

Here you will find Grand Baie rooms, where you can take in priceless views from your own outdoor balcony, take in the view of Sapphire Bay, virtually unchanged throughout the hotel’s long history, and breathe in the fresh air. from the seaside, all with a comfortable king size bed and large bathroom inside.

Next are the Bay Rooms, with a king bed and the historic sash window, onto your own balcony and settle into the comfortable outdoor furniture, perhaps with a glass of local wine in hand.

Built in 1888, the Grand Hotel Portarlington sits on the main street of Portarlington, offering incredible views of the popular and picturesque harbor area.
