AFL clubs settled on their side for Round 5, with teams playing Monday naming an extended swap.

GWS confirmed Thursday that pick 3 in the 2021 National Draft Finn Callaghan would debut, adding more depth to an already stacked draft class.

Port of Adelaide Sam Hayes could play his first game in the AFL, just like the best drafted Ben Hobbswho was also named to Essendon’s extended bench.

Eagles fans will have mixed feelings after reading about their Round 5 squad. Luke Shuey, Tim Kelly and Elliot Yeo all come back, but they are compensated by the loss of Nic Naitanui and Jeremy McGovern injury and health and safety protocols respectively.

Cameron Zurhaar, Lance Franklin, Patrick Cripps, Jack Lukosius and Ollie Wines are among the other big names to be injured ahead of Round 5.
