There are dozens of new COVID-19 exposure sites in Victoria a day after it was revealed that only 20 of the 120 new cases were isolated for their infectious period.

Victorian Prime Minister Daniel Andrews on Wednesday unveiled the state’s plan to slowly ease restrictions when a first-dose vaccination target of 70% is met.

This came as the state recorded 120 cases, which was its largest daily increase in COVID in a year.

Overnight, several new locations were added to the list of exhibition sites, including five Coles supermarkets, a chemists warehouse and two 7-Elevens.

Residents of an apartment complex in Coburg North also begin 14 days of quarantine after an infected person has been there for more than a week.

The Backpackers Base on Carlisle Street in St Kilda is also a five-day Level 1 site.
