St Kilda Football Club is looking for an operator for its Danny Frawley Center for Health and Wellness
The St Kilda Football Club has opened an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for a company to provide management services for its Danny Frawley Center for Health and Wellbeing (DFC) – located at the club’s site, RSEA Park, on Linton Street in the Melbourne suburb of Moorabbin.
Through the EOI process, St Kilda aims to nominate a single contractor or a variety of contractors for the operation of the DFC Gymnasium and Mindfulness Room, Rehabilitation and Recovery Zone, Allied Health Zone and the aquatic area with hot water swimming pool and 25 m swimming pool.
St Kilda indicates that “the designated contractor (s) will be expected to operate the center and its components in accordance with the expectations set out in the specification document”.
Currently under construction, once built, the DFC will complete the “members wing” of the RSEA park. Under construction in two stages, Stage 1, comprising the aquatic facilities and the wellness center (which will be operated by STKFC partners) will be completed in February 2022 while the second stage with the community gymnasium and the Allied health center is expected to be completed in October next year.
